Andrew
Santella is an independent writer and editor. His work appears frequently
in GQ and the New York Times Book Review. He has also written for
Slate, Details, the New York Times Magazine, the Chicago Reader, Commonweal,
Chicago Magazine, Notre Dame Magazine, Christian Science Monitor,
Nickelodeon and the Chicago Sun-Times. He is the author of about sixty
nonfiction books for kids, most on topics in American history. He
is also managing editor of Elmhurst Colleges Prospect Magazine.
Born and raised in Chicago, he graduated from Loyola University. He
now lives about 50 miles outside Chicago with his wife and son. |
